Welcome to our little corner of the internet, where faith meets the soothing sound of sea waves and warms your spirit like a sunny day at the beach! Here, against the backdrop of the beautiful sea, we explore uplifting and personal reflections, and hopefully spark some enlightening discussions. With sandy toes and waves washing over us, let’s embark on a journey that blends the serenity of the beach with the richness of our faith.

Faith by the Sea 🏄‍♀️

There’s something undeniably awe-inspiring about the ocean. Its vastness reminds us of the grandeur of creation and our place within it and yet how small in comparison with its Creator. Psalm 95 tell us the "depths of the earth are in His hands" and "the sea is His, for He made it." Just as the tides are ever-changing, our spiritual journeys can also take unexpected turns but we can find safety and stability in our Father through His word.

We are excited to share God's word with you through our "I Want to Walk on the Water" blog and our Sermon-by-the-Minute™ videos and we know that you will teach us as much as we teach you along the way! We are ALL called to be salty like the sea!

Though our main purpose is ministry, we will also share our favorite beaches, eats, and overnight stays in our "The Salty Details" blog. Let's share information! Tell us your favorite places and make suggestions!! What more can we ask for than spiritual growth and a community that we can partner with in our faith journeys?

The Sun Always Rises

Since the start of creation, we are ever moving in a perpetual motion or cycle of “darkness to light.” In Genesis 1, the earth began in darkness, but then there was light. This progression will continue until we as believers are no longer walking in darkness but only in light. Proverbs 4:18 states “But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.” Oh, what a glorious day! In the beginning, God created our beautiful earth from deep waters and infinite darkness. Light was created at His command, and the separation of light and darkness in the earth began. “And God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day.” (Genesis 1:5) So, in the beginning, the days on earth began evening to daytime, from darkness to light. The Story of My Life with Heart Failure — Part One

Before you read the full story, I wanted to share this piece of my heart face-to-face. This journey has changed me in ways I’m still learning to explain. But through every wave, God has remained faithful. 🎥 Watch the short video here . On Thursday, January 22, 2026, I flew home from a business trip to Dallas. By 11 PM, I was finally back in Thomasville, Georgia, exhausted but grateful to be home. Less than 24 hours later, my life changed forever. On Friday afternoon, after what I thought would be a somewhat routine echocardiogram, I was admitted directly into the hospital. I can still hear the cardiologist’s words,  “You are at risk for sudden cardiac death.”  Nothing prepares you for hearing words like that. Nothing. I went from living a normal life… to suddenly being monitored in a cardiac unit wondering what next. I left the hospital on January 27th with seven medications, a LifeVest, and a completely different life than the one I had walked in with just days before...
